Treatment and prevention of purulent - inflammatory disease, is one of the central research points for doctors and scientists around the world. Bacteriophages are considered as one of the alternative approaches for the treatment and prevention of infections with different etiology. Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Acinetobacter baumannii bacteriophages were chosen as the subjects for the study, the aim of which is to evaluate the effectiveness of these bacteriophages on the Galleria Mellonella animal model. As nematodes have been proven to provide a reliable and convenient in vivo study object. The aim of the study is to: 1. Preparation period for in vivo study a. Study the antibiotic sensitivity for the strains. b. Identification of bacteriophage activity. 2. Measuring the phage activity on animal experimental model.
