Studying of synthesis of adamantane fragment containing biologically active compounds.

Annotation:

The synthesis method of 5(6)-Nitro-2-(1-adamantyl)benzimidazole was processed. 5(6)-Amino-2-(1-adamantyl)benzimidazole was synthesized. The interaction reactions of these benzimidazoles with some carbonic acids and aldehydes are studied. 5(6)-Hydroxy-2-(1-adamantyl)benzimidazole was synthesized from m-aminophenole. Subsequently the nitration, O- and N-alkylation reactions of it was carried out. 5(6)-Ethylcarboxy-2-(1-adamantyl)benzimidazole was obtained from methyl esther of aminobenzoic acid. N-(1-Adamantyl)carbonyl-N’-benzyliden-o-phenylendiamine was synthesized. The structure of some compounds were characterized by IR, UV, NMR, Mass spectra and elemental analysis.
