The early stages of the interaction of bacteria with bacteriophage

Author: Nino Turqadze
Co-authors: Tamaz Mdzinarashvili
Keywords: T4 bacteriophage, DNA ejection, membrane frangments
Annotation:

There was increased T4 bacteriophage within fermenter accepted a high titre and purity of phage. According to calorimetric experiments on phage determined a denatured phage within solvent of ionic strength(1ssc, pH7) after cooling renews fully DNA native, spiral structure. But there is no renaturation of phage DNA in a low ionic strength buffer. Viscosimetric experiments show viscosity runaway while DNA ejection from phage causes by temperature. A method of membrane bacterium fragments get from batcteriums by ultrasound cleaned with liquid central figure used in this work. It expressed that membrane fragments has kept phage receptor sections proved by increasing viscosity in addition phage suspension.
