The significance Martkopi station for the development of Geography

Martkopi geographical station (Educational - Science Lab) is located 30 kilometers from Tbilisi - the place where are collected almost all landscape of eastern Georgia. Why it area is unique as the students practice for conducting of scientific - research work. Since 2005 - 2012, Martkopi station involved the International Geographical Union in the project: Geographical perspectives on sustainable development: Networking local area partnerships with teachers and young scientists. The Martkopi station (Prof. N. Beruchashvili) processed the basic concepts of modern geography and the methodological issues, which is being modern geographical researches.
